What a whirlwind the last months have been. We’ve gone from cask strength whisky, to cutting this back to what we believe is the ideal expression of the barrel right through to filling five barrels with new make. And that’s just on the whisky production side.
From the business side we’ve worked through branding, built this website and have started to plan the next five years of production and releases.
Batches No. 1, 2 and 3 will release over the coming three years and after that point the five barrels that are just now being filled will start to come to maturity. Over this time we have plans to fill additional barrels with spirit and to also begin aging those. At this point it should be obvious that Three Realms will be more than just the first three batches that have been created from our original investment in Tasmanian whisky.
We have some amazing expressions planned and experimentation is already underway. We’ll keep the website up to date with progress and share thoughts and tips on the process as it progresses.
